U.S. Air Strikes Into Iraq (1991)

The conflict in the war Operation desert storm called "Desert Storm" which is also called as the mother of batle or better known as the second gulf war. war rages between 2 August 1990-28 February 1991. before the first Gulf War have occurred between the years 1980 - 1988, which is a conflict between the two countries iraq and iran.

In the morning Baghdad time, on the 17th of january 20 years ago. US-led coalition launched its air attacks into Iraq and called their operation "Operation desert storm". Hundreds of fighters in the Baghdad sky at that time, air bombs were falling. Targets of their attacks are military bases and strategic areas, including oil refineries and Baghdad airport. nearly 400 attacks occurred, in the tragedy four French planes hit the target.

One of the main reasons that lead to the existence of this operation is the Kuwait invasion by Iraq's military forces in 1990. there are various direct and indirect reasons that are imposed at the time head of Iraq's "Saddam Hussein" to attack Kuwait. one reason is the alleged Iraq against Kuwait, which caused relations between the two countries has become corrupted, accused Kuwait iraq has been damaging the economy, because it has lowered oil prices. As already known, at that time kuwait controlling nearly two-thirds of world oil reserves.
