China handed over British to hongkong (1841)

During the first opium war that happened in china, china hand over Hong Kong to the British State on 20 January 1841, the handover was followed by the signing of the convention Chuenpi. Such delivery is as an effort to end the Anglo-Chinese conflict.

Then in 1841, China gave Hong Kong to the UK, the new agreement was signed one year later in Nanking tahun1842 agreement, and officially the agreement as an attempt to end the first Opium War.
